Rich Dad Poor Dad is a bestselling book written by Robert Kiyosaki. The title of the book represents two people whom Robert Kiyosaki claims as both his dads, each unique in the sense that they have their own distinct characteristics towards money and finances. His actual biological father is represented by “poor Dad” and his friend Mike’s father is the person that embodies “rich Dad”. He claims that his “poor Dad” worked his butt off all his life but still ended as financially insolvent, and in contrast, “rich Dad” is the enterprising type of guy who eventually out of his marketing shrewdness was able to build a business empire and became one the richest man in Hawaii. It was never divulged in the book who “rich Dad” was but this was the person Robert Kiyosaki emulated at an early age. On his book Rich Dad Poor Dad, Robert Kiyosaki asserts that the secret to a person’s climb to success is not being taught in American schools, where it should be.
Awarded with the Air Medal in his stint as a helicopter gunship pilot in Vietnam, Robert Kiyosaki left the Marine Corps and started selling copiers for Xerox. Robert briefly became successful in the setup of a company that sold the first ever Velcro surfer wallets but it eventually went bankrupt. And then, he ventured into T-shirts but that was another story.
Rich Dad Poor Dad principles and teachings are hinged on the success of investment opportunities such as businesses and real estate. Robert Kiyosaki’s book Rich Dad Poor Dad also gives hail to having assets that generate income or cash flows such as property rentals. For someone to be financially independent, Rich Dad Poor Dad advocates business enterprise ownership or investing in areas that readily generate passive income. Robert Kiyosaki in his book has outlined the four positions as to how many is earned:
• Investor – has to spend money in order to receive more in the future
• Business owner – is a person who owns a systematic way of making money, not earning it
• Small business owner or the self-employed – is the person who works at his own chosen time and he/she is his own boss
• Employee – is a person who is working to make someone else richer
Rich Dad Poor Dad highlights the following topics that are real life pointers to people who want to get up in then world:
• The poor are unaware that corporations are entities that all people can use to get rich
• Corporations have advantages because they can spend first and then pay taxes while the poor pay taxes first
• The significance of financial intelligence and its role in making you affluent
Getting rich is only one aspect you’ll learn in Rich Dad Poor Dad. For those who want to understand the core of the whole thing, you can find out more from this site:
What is The Isaiah Effect? How is it associated with the Law of Attraction? Is it part and parcel of this theory on positivity?
Recall that the Law of Attraction is a theory of sorts that is basically saying that being in a positive disposition or thinking of positive thoughts attract positive energy and karma, success, wealth, and goodness while being a pessimist or a negativist will bring an individual bad fortune, wasted opportunities, regrets, and an unsuccessful, unhappy life.
The Isaiah Effect is quite associated with the Law of Attraction and the principles the latter theory is espousing. This is a principle that is simply saying that mankind’s declarations and actions in the present time will impact how humanity’s future is going to be. It doesn’t matter if one’s actions are of little consequence now, the action will still determine future possibilities.
The Bible personality named Isaiah and the role he played in the great Christian book became the basis of The Isaiah Effect. It is said that this is because the prophet Isaiah was one famous and great man of the Bible who made predictions of “things” to come. In simple lingo, he made prophecies of how the future will look like and what the future will be like yet these prophecies had no specific time frame of when exactly these “things” to come are going to take place.
Nevertheless, it was because of this method of looking into the future called in the Bible as prophesying that The Isaiah Effect came into existence and currently many individuals are associating this with the Law Of Attraction.
The reason for the association is quite simple really. It is because as The Isaiah Effect is into the belief that what one is doing in the present has a corresponding future consequence, the Law of Attraction is more or less espousing the same belief only that one already has an idea of what will happen to an individual in the future through the manner he is living his life today. If he or she is living in “positivity”, he will reap “positivity” and whatever goodness comes with it. If the individual is living in “negativity”, well, what he or she will get is mostly likely going to be all the negative stuff of life.
The one thing, however, that the Law of Attraction and The Isaiah Effect have in common is the fact that both cannot and will never be able to pinpoint exactly when these “effects” that they deem will happen in the future is going to happen. Both are unable to give out neither time nor place.
Nonetheless, both have given the world some semblance of hope as followers and believers of the Law of Attraction and The Isaiah Effect can boast that the goodness, kindness, and generosity that they are practicing in the present time will bear only the best that life can offer. They are made confident that the good that they are doing today will be rewarded generously in the future.
